Introduction
The aim of this section is to guide you through every level without missing an AutoMap, Secret, Elite Guard (Praetor suit upgrade), Field Drone (Gun Mod), Codex (Data Log), new Gun, Collectible or Rune. A helpful hint is the map goes blue in areas you have been and remains grey if you haven't been. There are miscellaneous achievements you can unlock along the way, so you should also reference that section of this walkthrough as you go, this will reduce the amount you will need to grind out at the end.
If you would prefer videos for each level rather than the text walkthrough you should jump to the Video walkthroughs page. The videos cover everything that you will find in the text walkthrough so it is up to you.
Prologue
The prologue serves to introduce you to the basics. There are no secrets to find here, so just follow the level, destroy the Gore Nest and then head up the elevator. That leads into the first level.
The UAC (Level 1)
From the start of the level you will jump down and then climb up a ledge. There will be a Codex (1/2) on the ground in front of you:
You will jump down to the next area and fight some enemies. Then head on and find a locked blue door. To the right of this door you will follow the path around to find the blue key. Above the key is a ledge that unlocks a Secret (1/3) and holds the first Collectible (Classicguy):
Once through the blue door, you can loot a Frag Grenade on the left and then jump down and fight a few demons. Then the path will split. You should take the right path which leads into a cave. In here you will find an AutoMap that reveals the whole map:
Follow the cave to the exit and you will find an Elite Guard (1/1) before jumping down:
Drop down from here and kill all the enemies. Then head right and drop down again and you will be next to a secret door that looks like this:
Clear all the enemies out and then you can locate the lever. If you stand with your back to the door, then you should see writing of "TRI 9C" on a bit of scenery. Underneath this is the Lever you need to pull to open the Secret Door which is another Secret (2/3):
I won't reveal the contents of the secret door as it is a nice surprise. Once you have entered the secret door, come back out, climb up above it and jump over the gap. You should see 2 caves in front of you. Take the left cave first to grab the Codex (2/2):
Head back to the cave split and take the right cave now. At the entrance will be a Field Drone (1/1):
Fight through the next area and once all enemies are cleared out follow the middle path through an archway and you should reach a dead end with some armour to pick up above you. As you face the armour on the left wall will be a cave entrance:
This leads to a Secret (3/3) with the Collectible (Blueguy):
Now you just need to work your way to the end of the level through more enemies. Upon completing this level, you will unlock the achievement:

Resource Operations (Level 2)
Challenges
This is the first level containing challenges. You do not have to finish all 3 in a single run, so if you miss any then you can use mission select to finish them. You can track your progress on the map screen. The challenges for level 2 are:
Two-fer: Kill 2 of The Possessed with one trigger pull from the Shotgun:
- The possessed enemies are the weakest enemies that you encountered at the start of the level and throughout. You should use a weapon mod on the shotgun for this. If you have the burst charge then you should charge it up and line up multiple Possessed enemies and hope to get 2. If you have the explosive shot then fire at the ground near 2 Possessed enemies.
Variety is the Spice of Death: Perform 5 different glory kills on The Possessed:
- To perform different glory kills you should aim for different body parts each time. Each leg, each arm, in front or behind them will each perform a different glory kill.
Quite the Explorer: Find 3 secrets:
- If you follow this guide then you will get this challenge complete.
This will most likely be your first level doing all 3 as they are easy challenges, so you will probably unlock:

Complete all Challenges for a single mission.

Level walkthrough
Clear the enemies in the first room and go through the door you have to pull open. Head along this corridor, clearing the enemies as you go. At the end of the corridor are some stairs. At the top of the stairs, turn around and you should see a ledge you can jump to. Jump up here and follow it through to find a Secret (1/8) containing some armour:
Head back to the stairs and press the button at the top of them. This activates power for the area. Head back down the corridor and you will now be able to activate the AutoMap located on the left of the corridor:
In the room you entered from, you can now activate a button to open the floor and drop into the next area. There will be some enemies to kill here and along the next corridor. Once they are defeated if you turn around from the door you are meant to proceed through, then at the opposite end of the corridor where it turns there are crates and ledges to climb up, that includes some armour. Instead of jumping off the end of the platform you climb onto, you should make a jump over to the left onto a platform that contains a big screen. Here you will find a Lever to open up a Secret Door beneath the platform you are on which unlocks a Secret (2/8):
Once you exit the secret door, continue on the path. Through here you will fight more enemies and then emerge into a large room. Fight through everything in here and then progress to where the next door is in the opposite corner from where you entered, but instead of going through it, turn around and you should see a Codex (1/2) in the corner:
Turn left from the codex and you should see three panels with red stop buttons, the left one has its lid open. You can press the stop button on this to stop 2 elevators in front of you. Climbing up here and following the path will allow you to jump across and enter a room to get some armour. Drop down from here and you should find a Chainsaw embedded within a body:
In the next room you will find some more enemies. You should notice a yellow door in the corner opposite to where you entered. There is a button next to this that shows you where the yellow key card carrier went. Head to the right of the yellow door and you will find a hole in some fencing. Through here you can head up an elevator and follow this until you can drop down into the next room on the right. Kill the enemies in here and follow the corridor to the next room. Here you will have a Gore Nest to clear out and then you can activate an elevator. Upon leaving the elevator follow the path until you start seeing vision of an enemy walking. Just ahead of this you should find a Field Drone (1/1):
Follow the path to the end and loot the yellow key card. From this point you are meant to head through the door in front of you, but you should actually back track from here as you can now unlock more secrets. Head back through the elevator and climb back up to where you entered this room. Follow the path and at the end, turn left and enter the room. You can activate a console in here to unlock all the doors in the area. Now head back to the corridor you just came through and you should find a hatch on the right. Open this up and head in here to unlock a Secret (3/8) and find an Elite Guard (1/3):
You won't be able to leave here from where you entered, so follow the only path available and you should climb into another area that contains a Plasma Rifle which unlocks a Secret (4/8):
Now leave this area and you should be in the room with the elevator. Take this back up and go to where you obtained the yellow key card. The door to the right of this will now be unlocked which leads to a Secret (5/8). Head through this room and you will find a vent you can head through that will take you to another Secret (6/8) that contains an Elite Guard (2/3) and some armour:
Open the door with the button and you will enter the room with the yellow door. Head through here and the room ahead of you will contain a Heavy Assault Rifle:
Press the button in this room to unlock the airlock. Head through the airlock and go outside. This next area contains a lot of enemies, but also your first powerup. The powerup is Berserk mode that allows you to kill any enemy in the area with 1 punch. To get the powerup you need to head straight out of the door and it will be floating in the air above a platform:
After clearing out all the enemies you will reach a button to call an elevator. Instead of using this you should head back along the platform you are on and you should find a box you can climb on, just after you leave from underneath the building. It has blood on the ground around it and on the edge of it as well. Climb up the box and onto the building. Head right and when you reach the edge, turn around and jump up to another ledge and then climb to your right up onto the roof. From here head forward to reach the building ahead of you, and head into the left corner to locate a Secret (7/8) containing a Collectible (Doomguy):
Head back to where you climbed onto the roof and you should notice a body leaning against a hatch you can open. Drop through the hatch and press the button. This will spawn some enemies outside and move a satellite that you will be climbing in a moment. Head from the button along a corridor to locate an elevator you can use to go back outside. Clear out the enemies and then head to the satellite. Climb up this and head along to find some armour, then drop down and head through the door ahead and clear out the 3 enemies. Press the airlock button to open the next door. Head along this corridor, note the door you pass on your right will unlock when you press the next button, it just contains an ammo crate. Clear out all the enemies ahead and then you should find a Codex (2/2) in the left corner of the room:
Press the button in this room and move on to find more enemies. Once they are defeated you should head through the area on the left to head into a room that contains an Elite Guard (3/3) and an ammo crate:
Now head back to the previous area and continue on through the door. You will fight a lot of enemies here and then go through another door. In this next room you should see the door you are meant to go through in front of you and some crates to the left. Climb these crates and up onto a ledge to locate another Secret (8/8) containing a collectible (Bronzeguy):
Head back to the door you are meant to go through and you will be given your first Argent Cell (1/1) to upgrade yourself with. You will then be given some story and then the exit area will be opened for you to head to and finish the level.
Foundry (Level 3)
Challenges
Three Possessed, One Barrel - Kill 3 of The Possessed with one explosive barrel
- There is a specific room that I found this works best in. I have already written this in the walkthrough so you can skip to it with 3 possessed with 1 barrel.
Curb Stomp - Perform 3 "Death from Above" glory kills on Possessed Soldiers
- The Possessed Soldiers are the enemies with plasma rifles. A lot of the time you will be at the same level as them, so simply jump in the air and look down at them before performing the glory kill. It doesn't always perform the death from above, but just keep trying. If you really struggle then you can wait until later in the game when you unlock the ability to double jump.
Quite the Collector - Find 2 Collectibles
- The collectibles are the little Doomguy dolls. There are 2 in the level so you have to find both. They are Collectible (Vaultguy) and Collectible (Prototypeguy). You should complete this if you are following the walkthrough.
Level Walkthrough
When you leave the first room, jump over the gap and enter the door on your left. You should see a Field Drone (1/1) in front of you and a Codex (1/3) to your left:
Continue down the corridor killing the enemies and into the next room with more enemies to fight. On your left is an area that contains a button to activate a vision that shows where the guy that can activate the objective button went. Head into the next room and drop down. Climb up the platform at the back wall and through the doorway on your left to find an Elite Guard (1/3):
Head back into the previous room and climb up to the top. Before you jump to the platform with the stairs, you should look for the ledge to climb up to for a Secret (1/6) containing some armour:
Now jump over to the stairs and collect the arm of the guy on the ground. Jump across the gap and head to the back left corner of the room to use the button with the guys arm. Now the door that was covered in fire is unblocked and you can go through here and clear your first Gore Nest of the level. Now head back to where you first entered this area at the start of the level and head across the bridge. Follow the path around to the right and fight the enemies at the end. Once they are cleared out, in the corner opposite from where you entered is 3 pipes with lava flowing out of them. Jump over the barrier here to land on a platform and find a Secret (2/6) that contains a Collectible (Vaultguy):
Climb back up and collect the Yellow key from the body on your right. Now leave this area to spawn some enemies. After killing them, you should see some stairs going down on your left. Head down here and enter the first door on your right. Drop down within here and you will see another area you can drop into. This area is perfect for the 3 possessed kills with a barrel. I drop into the room to get them to walk to me near the barrels before blowing the barrel up. Climb out of this room where you dropped in and follow the path to the next room that contains a Codex (2/3):
Climb through the window above the codex and head along the corridor in front of you and drop into the next room and clear it out. Before moving on, you should jump up above the path you are meant to follow to find a Secret (3/6) that contains a Rocket Launcher:
Head back down and follow the path, you will enter a lava room with another Gore Nest to defeat. After clearing that out, move further into the lava room, if you take the left path then at the end of the path where it turns, you can jump to the left for some armour if you wish. Follow this area out to a gravity pad. You now need to head over the bridge you haven't crossed yet. This should be to your right from landing off the gravity pad. Half way across this bridge is a platform that has the Lever for the Secret Door:
After pulling the lever you should continue to the end of the bridge and you should see the door ahead of you to the left. Clear this area and go through the Secret Door for another Secret (4/6). Upon exiting the secret door you should head to the back right corner to get an Argent Cell (1/1):
At the opposite end of the room are some steps that go up to a yellow door. In this next room head up the stairs and at the end of the room is a Codex (3/3):
Head into the next long room and clear out the enemies. You will find 3 crates on a stopped conveyor belt. The middle crate is open and you will get another Secret (5/6) when you jump in, it contains a Collectible (Prototypeguy):
At the end of this room before going into the next you should see some crates with a chainsaw resting on them. Climb these and follow the path to locate a Secret (6/6) that contains an Elite Guard (2/3):
Head back out of the secret area and into the next room. Clear out the Gore Nest and then head up the stairs. Follow the path around here to unlock the AutoMap:
Head through the door to the next room and collect the Blue keycard. Drop down to each platform and through the door. After the corridor is another room containing a Gore Nest. Head out the door next to where the gore nest was and turn right. Enter the large door and follow the corridor to a button. After pressing this you will have to clear out a lot of enemies. Once you have cleared all the enemies, climb up the path at the end of the room and head through the door. You will find an Elite Guard (3/3):
In the next room, press the button to get more story, then kill the enemies and head through the door. You can now head to the button that exits the level.
Argent Facility (Level 4)
Challenges
Walk the Path: Interact with a Rune trial stone
- This will be one of the first things you do in the level. Very hard to miss.
Bird's Eye View: Acquire the AutoMap for the Argent Facility
- If you follow my guide then you will locate this. You can find the section it is referenced at by clicking AutoMap .
To Be Knighted: Perform 2 "Death from Above" glory kills on Hell Knights
- The Hell Knights are larger enemies that run at you and also try to pounce on you. Shoot them until they are within a glory kill state, then jump on top of them and perform the glory kill. I always made sure they were near a ledge so I could quickly climb above them. The glory kill state doesn't last long so you have to be quick.
Level Walkthrough
Head through the first room and up the stairs to reach a door to the outside. Jump across to the platform on your left and then climb up to get to the platform above. Jump across to the next platform to find a Rune (1/2):
After completing the rune trial you will unlock:

Now head up the stairs into the next room and turn left. Climb up the platform straight ahead of you and you will find a Codex (1/4) on the ground:
Just to the left of the codex is the Lever to open the Secret Door. It may be obscured behind some barrels:
Continue into the next room and you will find the secret door on the right hand side for your first Secret (1/5). Once you have finished with the secret door, head outside and defeat the enemies and then proceed along the path. You may notice a Field Drone move away from you, we will get to this later. Proceed along the path and there will be a cave on the left that contains an Elite Guard (1/4):
Proceed into the open area to find some enemies and a Gore Nest. Once you have defeated these, head into the building on the left of this area and go through the door on the left to disable the first argent filter for your objective. Head back into the previous room and defeat the enemies. At the end of the room on the left you will find a Codex (2/4):
Head out of this hanger and across the open area to the right hangar. In the corner straight ahead of you is an Argent Cell (1/1). You have to go around the room to reach it:
Now climb out of this room to the floor above. Head left and the first door you come to will contain your second argent filter for the objective. Head out the door and go right. As you walk into this room, a ship should fly over your head and through some doors. Follow this down and it will drop a crate. You can climb this to reach the platform above it for a Secret (2/5) that contains a Collectible (UACguy):
Climb back out of the room, the way you dropped in. Face into the large room and on your left is the second Rune (2/2) to climb up to:
After completing the rune, jump back down the side you climbed up and turn left. Exit through the door in front of you. You should find some enemies and a Gore Nest to defeat. After defeating the nest, you should take the left path (if you are facing the direction you came from the door), jump across the gap and instead of going into the door, you should take the path to the left of it find a Secret (3/5) containing a Super Shotgun:
Now head back and go in the door to find a Gore Nest. Once you have cleared this, go into the room to the left of where the gore nest was from when you entered the room. You will find the final argent filter and to the left of that you will find a Codex (3/4):
Exit this room to find some more enemies. After they are defeated, head to the left of the door you were previously at and down some stairs. Ahead of you to the left will be a door you can pull open. This leads to a Secret (4/5) containing the AutoMap:
Leave the secret area door and turn left and left again to find another door to exit through. Head outside and you should see a ledge on the left. Go around this and drop down below it to the left. Follow this path all the way to find a Elite Guard (2/4):
Head back along the path and at the end of it you should see a door below you on the left. Head inside this to get a Field Drone (1/2):
Now head back inside the building you came out of. Use either of the gravity pads and exit this room. Follow the path from here killing some enemies as you go. At the end of the path you should find another Elite Guard (3/4):
Continue around the path and go right and right again down the path. Part the way down you should find an area to climb on your right (if you reach the drop you have to jump over then turn around). After climbing up, before you jump across the gap, you should turn right and follow the path beside the building to reach a Secret (5/5) containing a Collectible (Stealthguy):
Head back to the path and jump across. Follow this and enter the room. Clear out the enemies here and head upstairs and up the next set of stairs. On your right you should find a Field Drone (2/2) and Codex (4/4):
Head back down 1 set of stairs and out the door. Head right from here and into the first door on your right. Follow this area round, in the next room go across to the far back wall. Pull open the door and head into the next area to find enemies and a gore nest. There is also a Berserk power up just past the gore nest. After clearing the area, head into the next hangar and to your left will be a Elite Guard (4/4):
In the next room, destroy the primary argent filter and then you can exit the level.
